HIV,Ebola to help CF?

Ran across this article on Drudge. A scientist from Pennsylvania University has added a protein component of Ebola to HIV.

"Tests on monkeys have shown that a safe hybrid of HIV and Ebola delivers corrective genes to the lungs better than any other method."

Since Thing1 lives with CF (no lung involvement at this time) I sent him the story. His response was interesting:

Let's not sign up until ..... never

Sounds like good advice to me!
