I'm a big fan of Legos. Fun for kids of all ages. TechEBlog has some some of the better creations I've seen in a while.
Nice thing about buying Legos is the support you're showing for the Dane's and their fight for free speech.

I'm using that Lego Mindstorms robotics kit in a class.
It's awesome.
I've got one of the Mindstorms Robotics kits as well. Lots of fun. I need to spend some time trying some of the projects I've seen online.
