36 Then He said to them, “But now, he who has a money bag, let him take it, and likewise a knapsack; and he who has no sword, let him sell his garment and buy one.

So if one translates this into today - Is Jesus saying that if one does not have a gun he should buy one?

Stopped by Fermilab on the way home today and drove by the buffalo. Six new babies. Very cute and further proof that God has an excellent sense of humor.
