I was out in my garden today before work picking some fresh tomatoes and zuchini. For some reason the emergency response vehicles at work decided to turn on their sirens. Since the garden area is ~3/4 of a mile from the main road through the site the sirens were pretty loud. Not that unusual.
In response to the sirens the coyotes decided to howl back. I heard at least 5 and maybe as many as 10 different voices. One as close as 50 yards.
Very cool!
