This is not my time in the mile run (best - 5:25 about 30 years ago) but the amount of time it took to give a pint of blood this morning. The scales that the blood bank uses track the time of donation. Last year I got into a race with one of the engineers here at work. He finished in 5:05 - I have a 5:14. I guess with no competition it was hard to race...
